Vintage 20s silver travel lipstick compact

Vintage 20s silver travel lipstick compactA gorgeous vintage c1920's Italian silver travelling lipstick compact. Heavily chased 800 silver in an Art Nouveau style. The compact is set with a turquoise coloured stone cabochon and this is used to push the lipstick in the holder. When the lipstick is drawn out of the compact there is a little mirror on a spring mechanism that automatically opens. A lovely little piece, marked inside 800, Italian make, c1920's. Condition : Very good condition
