1996-2002 3rd Gen 4Runner Fuel Tank Relocation Mounts (FTR)If youve been following this thread on T4R, you know a bunch of us 3rd gen 4Runner guys are relocating our fuel tanks from the factory location and replacing them with F150 auxiliary tanks in the rear, where the factory spare tire mount normally resides. While there is still development work occurring in regard to wiring & plumbing, EimKeith has designed these weld on fuel tank mounts to facilitate the actual physical installation of the tank itself.

45 degrees of caster correction

this stuff is WIY (Weld-It-Yourself) but self-aligning and easy to install

prone to bend under the vehicle's weight

IMO everyone should go to poly mounts if they’re going to run any aftermarket bumper on a 3rd gen 4Runner

They’re custom-made for this bumper to maintain the rear departure angle and maximize clearance

you’ll need to know what axle is in your FJ80/FZJ80 to select the appropriate kit for your truck

these angled faces present a terrific opportunity for positioning auxiliary reverse/scene lighting

this down & forward relocation is good for 3

A – the bumper is designed for crawling so it’s as tight and clearances as I can get it – however
