Petalite (GEM "floater" crystal)The vast majority of the Petalite crystals you will see from this locality have a distinctive "champagne" hue, which differentiates them from Petalite crystals from virtually all other world localities. This piece is notably colorless (it has a very pale golden overtone) compared to virtually everything else I've seen from the Palelni Mine. It's also one of the larger examples I've had to offer, since most others are thumbnails and this one is a full
sharp and notably well-formed
so it's mostly a reference specimen

The Smoky Quartz has a distinctive muted silvery-grey color
the color of the Brookites is a deep orange-red (best seen with backlighting) which contrasts wonderfully with the black "phantoms"
Considering that these crystals are from Bolivia is what makes them truly exciting
