There is a rhomboid shaped moisture shield which has the maker nomenclature

The blouse appears to have even ever so slightly shortened

1940 by both students and teachers

The nickel “D” guard hilt is uncleaned but has damage to the pommel cap area where it appears it has been soldered and will not turn

The body of the cap is produced in light gray trikot weave wool that is very clean with just ever so slight wear to the top panel
