French “Cuirassier” Chess Set, circa 1800An interesting French polished bone and dark brown stained fruit wood chess set, circa 1800 kings and queens with urn shaped central sections, bishops with hats, knights with Neo Grecian cuirassier helmets, rooks as squat turrets, pawns with balustered columns, the king 7cm high, the pawn 3. 8cm high.
