It has a very Burgundian profile

round and utterly delicious flavors are not quite as dense while the lingering finish is rustic and borderline chewy

with edgy flavors of cherry syrup and rhubarb

but I am willing to look past that because the wine has aged so gracefully

More buttery shortbread texture appears but is always tempered by bone dryness

anise and the sauvage adding breadth to the ripe dark currant scents
