Victorian Antique Silver Heart LocketVictorian (1831 1901) sterling silver heart shaped locket, featuring delicate floral etched pattern. The pendant is hallmarked on the underside, saying 'SILVER B&F'' (Sterling Silver Back and Front). The silver locket hangs from a new sterling silver chain. The locket is excellent vintage condition, measuring 2. 0cm 0. 7" in length and 2cm 0. 7" in width. The chain measures 17" 46cm.
The gold colour of the brooch has a slight rose tint
The heart is encrusted with paste stones
The piece has a number of hallmarks indicating it is 9ct yellow gold
The brooch features two hands holding a marcasite encrusted heart set on a twisted bar brooch
