Vintage Amethyst cocktail ring, 20ct yellow goldA truly exuberant vintage Amethyst cocktail ring. This ring is full of rich quality from the beautiful vibrant purple mixed cut Amethyst to the rich deep yellow gold. It has a smooth band with a light D profile the Amethyst mounted in a raised claw set mount. It is a very rich warm gold, unmarked tests as 20ct, it is a mid century piece c1940s. The Amethyst has rich and vibrant tones with an approximate weight of 3. 59 ctCondition: Good used condition

The centre face has a beautiful large light green turquoise cab claw set and shouldered by two rose cut diamonds either side

light surface wear and some tarnish evident on some links

one of the pearls has lost its nacre and is translucent in tone

It has two tones of gold a rich yellow and a light rose tone

this beautiful choker is made from rich and vibrant purple velvet with a short pile

it has an engraved design to the front and a gadrooned outer edge in a Victorian revival style
