Brookite

BrookiteThis aesthetic specimen features the largest individual crystal of Brookite on any piece I have available, measuring a full 3. 2 cm long! These crystals are very sharp, lustrous and well formed with classic "sword" shaped pyramidal terminations. You can see a bit of a golden hue on the edges when the crystals are backlit, but they are mostly opaque. If the crystals were completely transparent, the price would be considerably higher. With that said,

it is a possibility that we may not see any Ludlamites from Huanuni for a long time

the Wavellites are certainly impressive

This specimen has the most interesting coloration which grades from an alluring silvery shade to a pinkish orange hue

and this particular piece was one that I held back when I first purchased these specimens in anticipation that more were on the way
