David Bowie - LOWCo produced by Bowie, Brian Eno and Tony Visconti, this is the first of the so called 'Berlin Trilogy' (the others being 'Low' and 'Lodger'). Regularly included in 'Greatest albums of all time' lists, this is still one of my all time favourites. For anyone interested try the Philip Glass orchestral version 'The Low Symphony'.

Second studio album from great American bluesman Mahal

Actually in my youth it was my sister who was the Beatles fan

1968 release of the second album featuring Julie Driscoll supported by Brian Auger & The Trinity on one side and just Brian Auger on the reverse

Sadly my original copy of the Sweet Baby James album went to someone else

this one had a much more Pop-Jazz feel than the later electronica style albums (all of which I have)

most innovative UK rock/soft rock/pop rock/ bands

Consider by many fans and critics as 'not exactly their best effort' (my words)

While their eponymous first album didn't reach the UK Top 40

Duster Bennett was a lesser known but really good blues artist of the late 1960's who sadly died in a car crash in 1976 aged only 29
