Aloe castilloniae Original HybridAloe castilloniae hybrid A unique hybrid from an open pollinated cross between Aloe castilloniae and one of my own hybrid Aloe crosses. The leaves have the characteristic red bumps of A. castilloniae but the wider leaves and bluish purple cast of the hybrid Aloe. Forms clumps in time. Takes similar care to other small Aloe species and hybrids. Protect from frost. You will receive the plant shown in the images. It is shown growing in a 3. 5" pot.

Over time the stem will get taller and taller and is mostly unbranched but does happen sometimes

The plant may go dormant and drop its leaves

these prickles aren't sharp

These flowers have no strong scent

but a very rewarding one to grow

water when dry

Give water as the soil is about to dry out in the spring through early summer

A nice specimen of this Medusoid species of Euphorbia with a central "head" stem with long thin side stems
