Antique Victorian Whitby Jet Shamrock broochAn attractive and unusual Victorian Whitby jet brooch. It is a domed target style brooch, heavily and finely carved with a shamrock centre with further smaller shamrocks in an outer border. The shamrocks intercepted with carved geometric designs. It is a matte jet piece, commonly used for first mourning due to its more sombre appearance than highly polished jet. Genuine carved whitby jet with a brass c type clasp fastener. Condition: Good used
