SOLD……..A well worked silver needle case decorated with flowers. c 1830A particularly attractive silver needle case with plenty of sparkle due to the facet cutting on the highpoints and the worked ground. There are no maker's or silver marks but it is English silver and dates to circa 1830. 7. 5 cm long 3 inches In good condition but, when viewed through a lens, there are tiny pin prick holes on a few of the high points in the embossing mentioned for accuracy. The horn is well shaped and a dense colour with just an area of paler horn by the shield on the lid

In good condition- some patination and light pitting

The blades almost meet at the point ( see photo ) and they do cut although will need sharpening if they are to be put to use
