Its average age is difficult to establish, but certainly older than 50 years. From some of the oldest casks of this producer, belonging to the set of primitive soleras of the house. Calcareous/limestone soils

This is impressive in its fashion though it’s a bit too ripe for me

the 2022 Côtes du Jura Savagnin Cuvée du Professeur won me over instantly

The wine's concentration or overall richness is nudged up a notch

round and delicious if light weight flavors that culminate in a dusty and if not exactly rustic finish

There is fine richness if a bit less concentration to the supple

Displays lively

ripe acidity in orbit with the flesh

we put the wine immediately in new oak barrel without maceration

There is excellent volume to the dense medium-bodied flavors as the old vines are in evidence
