Organic Semi Worsted Shetland Wool SliverSourced from organic farms in Wiltshire and Somerset, England and our own small flock in West Wales, this Shetland wool has been hand sorted in our mill in Cardigan in West Wales. It's delicately scoured using sustainable methods in West Yorkshire, then carefully carded on our 1950s Tatham carder, Chapman. It's then Gilled (Pin Drafted) twice on Fish, the Intersecting Gillbox to make the fibres smoother and more parallel, perfect for hand spinning.
