Sgraffito Dragonfly Design Butter KeeperPROCESS: This butter keeper has two parts; both parts were thrown on the potters wheel. Then, once they were leather hard, both were trimmed and the black underglaze was painted on. The design was then carefully carved into the clay and once it was dry, it was fired. Then a clear glaze was applied and fired again to this finished product. To use: Smoosh the butter into the top part, and add water to the bottom part. Butter stay fresh on your counter
