The Bonzo Dog Doo-Dah Band - GORILLAFirst outing of the 'alternative' band led by the wonderful Viv Stanshall (a band formed in 1962 just around the corner from where I lived) . A gem as far as I'm concerned. Unfortuntely not the Original UK release but the same album and in very good nick.

While they did have a lot of success I think they should have been much bigger but the tag 'poor man's Moody Blues' seemed to have stuck - very very unfair

he formed the Keef Hartley band in 1969

it is a complex orchestral work and one which I still play today together with the sister album 'Song of Experience' (albeit on CD - sorry)
