Restored Ornate Cast Iron Fireplace Summer Cover GA9794We've restored this fireplace surround cover by professionally cleaning the piece, removing all of the rust then giving it a new coat of black paint. The cover has a hammered design outside of the center piece with a square egg & dart outer trim. The center design is of a woman playing an instrument with two young cherub like children. These hub caps are original and fit Corvettes from 1958 to 1962
Each knob measures 2 1/2" in diameter

The handle is white porcelain with brass trim and a brass pipe fitter
They both do need some TLC in areas and is pictured above
This valve mold was salvaged from a valve manufacturing company
spindles and Fleur de Lis finials
The pics in this posting show the glass for these windows is missing or broken
It measures 38" long by 24" wide and 16" tall (not counting the handle)
