The Elephant Building in Coventry is one of them. Designed as an extension to the Coventry Central Baths, it strides above Cox Street with a bold, zoomorphic profile and an enclosed link that locals call the elephants trunk. Strong planes, deep recesses, and a sculptural stance give it presence even when quiet.
