A child's vintage silver charm bracelet. French. 20th century.A small silver charm bracelet for a young girl. It has various miniature attachments a rattle in the form of a shell, a pair of scissors, a thimble, a silver pail and two religious charms in the form of a rose. The little rose charms are religious as one opens up to reveal the image of Joan of Arc with the basilica at Domremy on the other half. There are three large collars

The silver is undecorated and unmarked

The interior has a notelet made of waxed card at the back and a leather tool pad containing silver handled scissors

The pearl has raised beads around the edge and the silver spring cover is stepped and cross hatched

The top is a disc of carved and pierced mother of pearl and would have been in a sewing box along with a matching set of reels plus a waxer and a tape measure

The filigree work is exquisite but does have one tiny break in the silver rib on both sides of the shuttle as shown in the photographs

It is silk lined in a matching burgundy colour
