A pretty clear glass miniature shoe with enameled decoration- a thimble holder

It is in excellent condition except that both silver marks have deliberate scored lines through them but otherwise no damage and the spring action is very good

The side has alternating strips of green and white pearl and the turning spindle is pearl too

The address and logo was used throughout the 19th century but the absence of 'England' would suggest pre-1890

800 silver and the two are joined by a silver chain which is also marked

The pearl is ring cut on the ends and would have been part of the fittings of a French Palais Royal sewing box
