Vintage Art Deco silver and enamel compact, carnationsA beautiful vintage Art Deco era sterling silver and guilloche enamel compact. The compact has a bright white guilloche enamel ground with a painted enamelled scene of red carnation flowers. Internally it has a mirror and is marked Vogue, it has a patent push tap mechanism. The compact is made from sterling silver with the lion passant to the thumb piece and is fully hallmarked on the underside for sterling silver, Birmingham assay office, 1932, maker
