There is more volume still to the nicely intense and muscular medium weight plus flavors that possess a velvety mouthfeel before terminating in a lingering, firm and youthfully austere finale where the wood resurfaces. It's an essence of Barolo but today the wine's tannins are preventing it from really coming alive
