Following the success of 2018s 21st Century Liability and 2020s weird!, his third record is simply titled YUNGBLUD: its a reclamation of his own narrative and the consolidation of his artistic identity.
The songs are rounded out with live drums and minimal synthesisers with all the mistakes kept in for maximum human feel and emotion
but full of melody and a sense of adventure
The new album serves as his fifth in addition to three mixtapes released in 2011
it features three songs from The Black Album
in cooperation with Laurie Anderson
2019's Honeyweed and 2020's Avenue G further cemented the band's place as one of the indie genre's brightest stars
