A Nice solid box with a lightly domed lid and ever so slightly rounded corners giving it a pillow effect shape, smooth polished finish with a gilt lined inner lid and sectioned cedar wood compartments. A stylish antique box and very well made with a decent weight to it and a good table top size, displays beautifully. It is fully hallmarked on the inner rim for London Assay office, 1919, maker CLS.
