Vintage Art Deco diamond and chalcedony pendantA beautiful, unusual vintage Art Deco era pendant. A large faceted cut chalcedony with blue green hues claw set in a silver gilt mount. The silver gilt frame is set with old rough cut diamond chips, small diamonds that shimmer in the light and collectively weigh up to 1ct diamond weight. The mount is silver fronted and gilded on the back. It looks so beautiful when held up to the light and has an air of magic and mystery to it. Condition: Good used

these were in vogue from the turn of the century to the 1920's and had their roots in the Art Nouveau and Art Deco movements
