SOLD…..A small pair of Palais Royal steel scissors from a sewing box. c 1800-1820A delicate pair of French cut steel scissors. They are the type that would have sat opposite a mother of pearl handled pair in a Palais Royal sewing box. There is some light tarnish which looks far worse in the photos than it is! 5. 5cm long Finger ring span 3. 7cm Stock no. KS43

The tartan is titled Colquhoun in the usual gold on black and the name of the view -Hawthornden ( Midlothian ) -is written in yellow script under the picture
All six have their original spangles and are in excellent condition
