Raveneau, Chablis Montmains(from relatively young vines based in Montmains proper). Here the expressive nose mixes primarily floral notes with hints of citrus, pear, sea breeze and quinine along with a nuance of exotic fruit. There is a relatively soft, indeed even tender mouth feel to the lightly mineral inflected medium weight flavors that display a touch of salinity on the delicious if slightly warm finish. This too should be approachable young if desired. (90) 2018+

tangerine oil and a range of saline-infused notes all run through the 2018

There's a dusty or earthy quality as well with crushed stone and mineral

and the Syrah in new barrels

but the wine's aromas also veer toward crushed stone
