ぶどうが育つのは、マールボロの南、冷涼で乾燥したアワテレ・ヴァレーの中でも標高の高い丘の上。 風が強く、水はけのよい痩せた土壌。
トリニティヒル ホークス・ベイ シラー 2022（Trinity Hill Hawkes Bay Syrah 2022）
ネルソン地方でつくられたこのワインは、そんな現地の風景を連想させるような１本です。
彼らは、“フランス以外で自らの味わいを追求できる場所はニュージーランドしかない”と目し、本家と同じソーヴィニヨン・ブランを植樹。20年以上にわたりマールボロの地でフレンチスタイルのワインをつくり続けています。
