Blood, Sweat & Tears - BLOOD, SWEAT AND TEARSWhat many people probably consider the first BS&T album given the change in direction, greater use of brass instruments and bigger 'orchestral' sound. It still stands out as their (marginally) best work. Original UK release with gatefold sleeve; slight wrinkle in sleeve but otherwise all in very good condition.

A  concept album

Many critics slated this offering thinking that the Stones had perhaps lost their way and succumbed to thhe 'psychedelic' era

Probably lesser known in the UK than in America

Excellent versions of some classic early blues songs

as is 'Pirates'

Highly criticised at the time because of the sense of incompleteness - intended originally as the much longer

Sadly my original copy of the Sweet Baby James album went to someone else

more 'pop rock' oriented album that spawned the hit singles 'Evil Women' and 'Strange Magic'

It still stands out as their (marginally) best work
