Antique bohemian garnet brooch, VictorianA beautiful antique, Victorian era bohemian garnet star cluster brooch. Loaded with pretty rich red garnets with a graduated layered effect leading to the centre with an approx depth of half an inch. Set into a gold plated setting with an old C type clasp. Good condition overall, some wear to the plating, minor scratches and abrasions to the stones, some ageing of the metal commensurate with age. Approx measurements: 1. 25" width 1. 25" height 0. 5"

A Solid sterling silver bangle with a wide chunky band inlaid with a band of braided hair all around the bangle to the catch

It has a decorative scrolling yellow gold frame with a C type clasp

it has a small top loop for hanging from a chain or adding a safety chain and a C type clasp

bow has no pin and has been replaced

A very nice unusual piece for the collection

The brooch has an old C type clasp fastener and is fully hallmarked on the back for Birmingham 1892
