A Charles Horner 'Dorcas' thimble. Adult size 6. c1920A silver thimble with a waffle design made with a steel core so it cannot be punctured by a needle and it will react to a magnet. It is stamped Dorcas, 6 for the size and CH for Charles Horner the maker. The flatter top indicating it was made after 1900. In excellent condition no damage. 2cm high Finger aperture 1. 4cm in diameter. Stock no. B12
