Antique Victorian mourning locket pendant, Vulcanite and Bog Oak, floralA beautiful antique Victorian mourning locket. It is a large chunky locket made from vulcanite with an applied spray of flowers made from bog oak. It opens to reveal two compartments for storing photographs. Both vulcanite and bog oak were popular materials for use in mourning jewellery due to the dark aesthetic that they produce. The locket contains two vintage photographs currently though these can easily be swapped out for something of your own.
