Domaine Michel Mallard, Corton Renardes(from a . 75 ha parcel). A slightly more deeply pitched and earthier nose reflects plenty of floral influence along with wood and menthol hints. The is a beguiling texture to the tension filed, detailed and more mineral driven broad shouldered flavors that also conclude in a firm, serious, austere and moderately rustic finale. This is very Corton in character and a wine thats going to need extended keeping before it will be ready for prime time.
