The looped closure contains a decorative steel bodkin
Otherwise they are in good condition
The stand is hall marked on the base as are the castors
Dutch c 1860
The lenses are round and are corrective
It was used to shape nibs made from feather quills
is embossed with a cherub and foliage
Inside it is lined with a very pretty patterned pink silk
A small steel bodkin stamped 'Davis Studley' on one side and 'Needle Manufacturer' on the other
Height at the back 5cm
In good condition-no damage
The steel is decorated with riveted studding and still has a good mirror finish
