A French silver bodkin / tooth pick / ear spoon. c1830

A French silver bodkin / tooth pick / ear spoon. c1830A French decorative, triple purpose silver tool from a French sewing set c1830. It has an earspoon on one end, is slotted to act as a bodkin and is pointed so it could also be used as a tooth pick. There is a silver mark near the slot a hare's head which dates it to c1819 1838. In very good condition. Stock no. KP26

All three have their stoppers which can be removed

A cased set of Art Nouveau silver buttons

They are an unusual design with spots of green shell set into the white

It has a silver mark on the rim but I can't make out the design- possibly French but not the usual boar's head

Age uncertain possibly German

It measures 13

It is stamped on the engine turned holder 'John Sheldon' and has a diamond shaped mark (lozenge) with the copyright date letter for the year 1845 which protected the design for three years

The base is paper covered and has an old orange coloured label with faded gilt lettering-unfortunately it is unreadable

A striking brooch made of steel studs riveted onto a backing plate

There are small patches of rust on the steel by the rivet but nothing major
