Original Rebel Flag - YouthThe original Betsy Ross flag was designed with the stars in a circle to symbolize equality between the original 13 colonies equality that we were not receiving from the Crown. The flag was a symbol of strength and unity, as well as rebellion against the tyrannical King George and the Kingdom of Great Britain. This is our favorite flag design, and one that should not be forgotten. If we are going to preserve any flag, let's preserve the Betsy Ross.

This version of the Texas flag was allegedly designed by Lorenzo de Zavala at the Washington-on-the-Brazos convention in 1836 which drafted the Texas Declaration of Independence from Mexico as well as the original Texas Constitution
