The 2001 vintage was of course very successful in the southern Rhône and this was luscious and spicy but the tannins were completely resolved and the fruity impact was in retreat

This fine effort is very Morgeot in character and worth a look

indeed to the point where they possess a silky mouth feel and culminate in a superbly long and punchy finish that is the epitome of finesse

as if it had been excessively fined and/or filtered
