Cloudy Bay, Te Wahi

Cloudy Bay, Te WahiRich, deep and sweet, the 2019 Pinot Noir Te Wahi is Cloudy Bay's Central Otago label. It's full, open, ripe and sitting sweetly within its drinking window with attractive plum and cherry fruit, festive spices and the beginnings of savory, tertiary characters. Despite its ease and approachability, there's not much going on here, and you're left wanting more, more depth, nuance, and length.

This tautly muscular effort is seriously good though patience will of course be necessary
