A Very Large Roman Bronze Phallic Pendant.A very rare to find large bronze Roman phallic pendant. This item which dates to circa 1st 2nd century AD, is in wonderful allover condition. With excellent incised detail this piece shows three different symbols. The Phallus, male genitalia and the manus fica ( closed hand with hidden thumb. ) The manus fica was to ward of evil spirits and bad luck. This piece is incredibly rare to find especially in this size and as such would make a fabulous centre
