Blood, Sweat & Tears - CHILD IS FATHER TO THE MANAnother Band that has received mixed reviews over their career. I was drawn to this in 1968, Summer of Love and all that, by some interesting tracks, good musicianship and something a bit different; I have always been drawn to 'big band orchestral' music and the use of brass, etc on this, their first album, was great. Heavily influenced by Al Kooper, he left after this album and BS&T went on quite a different path.
Classic Bowie album with the 'Space Oddity' track that pushed him to stardom
this is the original UK release with 'envelope' style sleeve and printed record sleeves of track listings and band photos
