Silk Belt - Black/GreyThis belt is made out of surplus upcycled silk sari fabric and detailed with mother of pearl buttons. We have repurposed silk saris, the traditional indian dress for women. Therefore all patterns vary depending on the original sari making every piece unique in its colour and pattern. No one piece is exactly the same.

Each piece is made on hand-operated machines as well as a majority of the work being made by hand

a reminder of early childhood memories traveling to India with her family and the joy and safety family brings

who have otherwise been unable to find employment due to their limited time as they are overloaded with family obligations
