Early Victorian Diamond Serpent RingON HOLD An INCREDIBLE antique snake ring dating from the mid 19th century, circa 1840. He's furnished with the usual rose cut diamond 'brain' and vivid ruby eyes, the individual body segments designed to give him a scaly look each one home to a single rose cut diamond. The face expression is quite silly, cartoonish almost (remember, most people living in England at the time had never seen a snake IRL), and he's crafted in 15ct gold and sterling
