There's an oven, a dresser, a sink, a fridge and the latest in modern appliances a washing machine! They are tin plate with printed features and movable doors. The fifth item is a pin cushion mounted with two silver plaques depicting Pope Pious IX (died 1878)

The interior is lined with a raspberry coloured paper which is the original and typical of the period

This date may be the presentation date as this style of work is earlier- circa 1830

The portrait of Charlotte is very similar to a miniature by Henry Bone which was taken from a painting by William Beechey too although I haven't found an image of the original painting
