5.5x8 Vintage Chainstitch Carpet:: Our chainstitch collection encompasses centuries old designs, with this piece being inspired by French Savonnerie and Rococo textiles and decor. Chainstitch is a weaving method that enables a great deal of detailing in patterns, and is especially so for weavings of curvilinear design. There is added dynamic imparted by the spiraling technique in the single colored areas which adds a subtle nuance to the shades of wool based on reflection of light.
