The Rolling Stones - STICKY FINGERSThere is simply no point in trying to describe 'The greateast rock and roll band in the world ever' (see my Vlog); having said that this is one of my top 5 favourite Stones albums. The original UK release with the Andy Warhol design and real zipper.

On this album he played as a one man band

including a version of George Gershwin's I Got Rhythm

Not so much a 'Best of' but a taster for the group using their first single and tracks from the first 2 albums 'Barclay James Harvest' and 'Once Again'

Probably lesser known in the UK than in America

The first (of many) 'Best of' album from the mighty Stones (and one of the all time greatest 'Best of' albums) - by 1967 they had already racked up a number of hits

This album was released after the break-up of Jefferson airplane into 2 groups - Airplane and Hot Tuna

Another of my all-time favourites

but I like Auger's instrumental jazz rock tracks - a very fine organist/keyboard player

First studio album from an early 'Supergroup' - Keith Emerson (ex-Nice keyboardist)

Axelrod was one of the first recording artists to fuse elements of jazz

it is still viewed as one of his best albums
