Vintage 1950s Diamante Comet BroochVintage 1950s brooch with claw set diamante stones. This piece is in the shape of a shooting star or comet, it is unique in shape and large in size. This brooch is in excellent vintage condition, measuring 10cm 4" in length and 1. 5cm 0. 6".
The beads are strung on a fine silver chain
enamel can often be chipped from age but this piece is perfect
The garnets are set in garnet gold
The brooch is hallmarked with the makers mark 'S-BRO' referring to the jewellers Sydenham Brothers found in New Edmund Street
lighter and did not tarnish and could be made into intricate designs
