Antique Moonstone scorpion brooch sterling silver, VictorianA gorgeous antique, late Victorian silver and Moonstone scorpion brooch. The scorpion is crafted from sterling silver, and has an outstretched tail and claws. The top of the body adorned with large oval Moonstone cabochons with a lovely blue shimmer. There are three Moonstone to the body and one on each claw and also has sparkling paste eyes. This guy despite being a scorpion only has six legs and scorpions in reality have eight as they are arachnids

It has an old C type clasp fastener and is fully hallmarked
