The Infants Christ and Saint John the BaptistThis picture is the best of Cartwirght's Van Dyck copies. The original at Lamport has been dated c. 1638 40. Several other versions are recorded, including a picture in Sir Peter Lely's collection. A version in the Royal Collection, acquired c. 1666 67, shows several minor differences from the Lamport and Dulwich pictures.
